Prepare the Water Paper - For wet sanding, wet the abrasive paper with clean water before starting. For dry sanding, use the sheet directly.
Keep the Surface Wet - During wet sanding, keep both the abrasive paper and the working surface sufficiently wet to reduce loading.
Sand the Surface - Sand evenly using light to moderate pressure. Work in straight or cross-pattern strokes for a more uniform finish.
Rinse and Clean - Regularly rinse the working surface and abrasive paper to remove sanding residue and prevent clogging.
Inspect the Finish - Check the surface for an even finish. Move to a finer grit if additional refinement is required.
Clean After Sanding - Wipe or rinse the surface thoroughly and allow it to dry before moving to painting, priming, or the next finishing stage.
